This week I get a lot of attention from the words of Carly Fiorina, Former Ceo Hp. She mentioned three important things about leadership and these are:
Capacity, collaboration and character.
She mentions that generally when talking about ability, relate it to the skills that a person has, experience they have through the years, etc. All these things are important, but what should be in the first place is the ability to ask and know how to wait for the answer.
I liked this way to see things, to have the ability to know how to ask and much more to know how to wait for the answers. I have met people with that gift of listening and understanding well before executing an action.
Another point to mention in this week is the ability to execute an action, there are people with that rare but necessary skill. Garcia's story clearly epitomizes this subject, even being much more valued than the talent or skill a person has within a work area. I finish this publication with these phrase that has muchisima truth and that the world needs inside: The ability to execute is more valuable than education or talent, because it is far rarer.
If we have some gifts or skills that we need, we must ask our heavenly Father to help us in the process of finding them.
